Talent Acquisition Coordinator

Compensation: $25 to $26 Hourly

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support a growing company in the Piscataway NJ area. This Long-term Contract position focuses on creating a smooth and compliant onboarding experience for new employees by coordinating pre-employment activities and required documentation. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and at least 1 year of experience handling onboarding processes, background screening, and employment verification tasks.


Responsibilities:

• Coordinate onboarding activities for new employees, ensuring all pre-employment steps are completed accurately and on schedule.

• Initiate and monitor background screening processes, following up as needed to support timely staffing decisions.

• Manage I-9 document collection and verification to maintain compliance with employment eligibility requirements.

• Review and track onboarding paperwork to ensure records are complete, accurate, and properly documented.

• Partner with recruiters, managers, and HR team members to support a seamless transition from offer acceptance to start date.

• Communicate with candidates regarding onboarding requirements, outstanding items, and next steps in the recruitment process.

• Maintain organized onboarding and compliance records while protecting sensitive employee information.

• Assist with employment verification activities and help resolve documentation issues that could delay start dates.


Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in talent acquisition coordination, onboarding, or a related HR support role.
• Hands-on experience initiating and tracking background checks for new employees.
• Working knowledge of I-9 compliance requirements and employment eligibility verification procedures.
• Familiarity with onboarding workflows and employee documentation management.
• Understanding of HR compliance practices related to recruitment and employee records.
• Experience supporting employment verification processes with a high level of accuracy.
• Strong organizational, communication, and follow-up skills in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

$25.00-$26.00 Hourly
