Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer
Responsibilities:
• Create and enhance Power BI dashboards that provide visibility into plant operations, production trends, and maintenance performance.
• Combine information from multiple internal sources to build unified reporting views that improve access to operational data.
• Develop interactive visualizations with features such as filtering, drill-through capability, and intuitive navigation for a better user experience.
• Work directly with plant leaders, engineers, technical staff, and maintenance teams to understand reporting priorities and translate them into dashboard solutions.
• Deliver reporting that supports quality monitoring, productivity measurement, financial insights, and key operational indicators.
• Analyze large volumes of manufacturing data and present findings in a format that is accurate, actionable, and easy to interpret.
• Help replace manual or spreadsheet-driven reporting processes with more automated business intelligence solutions.
• Maintain dashboards over time by refining data models, improving performance, and updating reports based on evolving business needs.
Qualifications:
• At least 3 years of experience in business intelligence, reporting, or data visualization roles.• Strong practical experience building reports and dashboards in Microsoft Power BI.
• Proficiency with DAX and related techniques used to create meaningful calculations and measures.
• Ability to work with complex operational datasets and transform business requirements into effective reporting solutions.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, maintenance, or operations-focused environments.
• Solid understanding of dashboard design principles, KPI reporting, and data visualization best practices.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate independently and effectively in an onsite team setting.
