Position Description
A graduate student employed in support of the teaching mission who is responsible for, or in charge of, a class or class section, or a quiz, drill, or laboratory section. The position of Teaching Assistant is intended for graduate students employed in teaching activities. The source of funds is ordinarily an academic account.

The TA will assist in the creation and developmentof instructional design materials for the Office of Interprofessional Education. Duties include the following:

Education and Experience * Currently enrolled as a graduate student at TTU or TTUHSC, in good academic standing.

Major/Essential Functions
The TA will assist in the creation and developmentof instructional design materials for the Office of Interprofessional Education. Duties include the following:
- Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content related to IPE needs
- Apply tested instructional design theories, practice and methods
- Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process
- Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, roleplays, games etc.)
- Assist in the designand updates of new and established learning models.
- Knowledge of course development software and at least one learning management system is preferred
Required Qualifications
