Accounting Leader

We are recruiting for an experienced Accounting Leader to lead accounting operations for a multi-entity organization. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing financial reporting, month-end and year-end close processes, audit coordination, compliance, internal controls, and team development. The Accounting Leader serves as a key business partner to operational leadership and executive management, ensuring accurate financial information and strong fiscal stewardship.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy and GAAP compliance.
• Manage general ledger activities, account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
• Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and budget-to-actual analysis.
• Coordinate external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
• Maintain compliance with applicable regulatory and reporting requirements.
• Review key financial transactions and strengthen internal controls.
• Prepare and present financial reports to leadership and stakeholders.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

Qualifications

• Active CPA license required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and audit processes.
• Experience with accounting systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical abilities.
• Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential financial information.

Compensation

$120,000.00-$140,000.00 Yearly
