Responsibilities

• Prepare and record journal entries to ensure financial transactions are accurately reflected in the accounting records.
• Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts, ensuring proper classification and documentation of financial activity.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with financial reporting and analysis by preparing schedules and supporting documentation.
• Support sales tax, corporate tax, and other compliance-related accounting activities.
• Review financial records and transactions to ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures.
• Utilize accounting systems and Excel to organize financial data, improve reporting accuracy, and support decision-making.
• Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments to provide excellent internal customer service and support organizational goals.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and strengthen financial controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close procedures.
• Experience preparing journal entries and financial schedules.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications:

• Experience in cost accounting, including analysis of product, job, or operational costs.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing or standard cost accounting principles.
• Ability to build and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models with accuracy.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify meaningful business trends.
• High attention to detail and commitment to producing reliable, well-supported reporting.
• Naturally inquisitive mindset with the ability to investigate issues and solve problems effectively.
• Proficiency in preparing ad hoc financial reports for management and cross-functional teams.

Compensation

$65,000.00-$100,000.00 Yearly
