Staff Accountant

Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join their growing accounting team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an accounting detail oriented who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and contributing to the financial success of the organization.
Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end account reconciliations Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Analyze financial data and investigate account variances Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed Prepare and maintain supporting schedules and financial reports Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs Experience with ERP/accounting software preferred Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines Effective written and verbal communication skills

Compensation

$30.00-$40.00 Hourly
