Paralegal

A law firm with multiple offices throughout California and the East Coast is seeking a Litigation Paralegal for their DTLA office. We have placed legal professionals at many offices for this firm!

Responsibilities:

• Prepare for (and attend) trial, including assembling exhibits, witness lists, and jury instructions
• Direct the e-discovery lifecycle, including platform administration, data integrity, and the review, redaction, and production of documents.
• Review discovery materials, summarize depositions, and assist in drafting formal discovery responses.
• Analyze medical and billing records to generate detailed page-and-line summaries and comparative charts.
• Prepare subpoenas, gather expert witness information, and maintain professional communication with clients, counsel, and court personnel.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of civil litigation experience, ideally in business, employment, or commercial litigation
• Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program or equivalent attestation
• E-discovery fluency, particularly with document review/redaction
• Trial readiness exposure, including pre-trial pleadings, exhibit and witness lists, and providing support during and after trial
• Westlaw/Lexis Nexis exposure
• Ability to commute to DTLA most days

Pay is commensurate with experience as a litigation paralegal in CA within complex litigation.
