Project Billing Specialist
Responsibilities:
• Manage billing activities through designated portals, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
• Coordinate billing processes specific to manufacturing projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Work extended hours during month-end periods, including weekends when necessary, to meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with teams to review accounts receivable and actively participate in weekly discussions.
• Perform data entry tasks with precision while analyzing financial information for discrepancies.
• Utilize advanced Excel functions, such as VLOOKUP and pivot tables, to streamline reporting and data analysis.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to resolve billing issues and improve processes.
• Apply problem-solving techniques to address billing challenges and ensure seamless operations.
• Maintain detailed and organized records of billing transactions for auditing purposes.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in project billing, particularly within manufacturing environments.• Proficiency in using billing portals and managing associated workflows.
• Ability to work extended hours during month-end periods, including weekends when necessary.
• Familiarity with AR processes and the ability to contribute to weekly reviews effectively.
• Advanced skills in Excel, including the use of VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address billing discrepancies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to perform accurate data entry tasks and maintain detailed records.
Compensation
