Sr. Accountant
Responsibilities:
• Lead the monthly close process for multiple entities, ensuring timely completion of journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger review.
• Prepare and monitor accruals and prepaid balances so expenses are recorded in the appropriate accounting periods.
• Maintain intercompany accounting schedules and assist with consolidation activities, including elimination entries across related entities.
• Generate reliable financial statements and supporting reports for individual entities as well as consolidated results.
• Coordinate audit preparation by organizing workpapers, strengthening documentation, and responding effectively to external audit requests.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, and legal teams to provide accounting insight that supports budgeting, forecasting, and business decisions.
• Evaluate existing workflows and introduce process enhancements that improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
• Assist with accounting support for acquisitions and the onboarding of newly formed or integrated entities.
Qualifications:
• At least 3 years of accounting experience, with prior public accounting experience strongly preferred.• Solid command of accounting principles with the ability to apply technical guidance in a practical business setting.
• Hands-on experience with month-end close, general ledger activity, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Background in multi-entity accounting environments; exposure to consolidations and intercompany transactions is highly valued.
• Strong systems aptitude and confidence working with accounting technology and process design.
• Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, evolving organization with changing priorities and increasing complexity.
• High attention to detail combined with the ability to communicate financial information clearly to leadership and cross-functional partners.
• CPA designation or active progress toward certification is preferred.
Compensation
