Accounting Specialist
We’re partnering with a growing, stable organization to add an Accounting Specialist to their team. This is a well-rounded role where you’ll get exposure to both Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and general accounting operations.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Process high-volume vendor invoices, including coding, approvals, and payment processing (check/ACH)
- Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, cash application, and collections follow-up
- Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts to ensure accuracy
- Maintain and update customer and vendor records
- Assist with account reconciliations and support month-end close
- Help manage billing cycles and customer accounts, including recurring or contract billing
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or payment issues
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, sales, leadership) to improve processes and communication
- Support additional administrative or accounting projects as needed

Qualifications:
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or accounting support
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of transactions
- Comfortable working in Excel and accounting/ERP systems
- A self-starter who can work independently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Willingness to learn, take on additional responsibilities, and adapt as the business evolves
Nice-to-Have (But Not Required)
- Experience in manufacturing, construction, or service-based industries
- Exposure to job costing, contract billing, or seasonal billing cycles
- Experience assisting with month-end close or reporting
