Attorney/Lawyer
Robert Half is seeking a full-time Family Law Attorney with 1+ years of experience on behalf of a growing boutique law firm located in downtown Chicago. This opportunity offers a flexible hybrid schedule, a reasonable billable requirement, and the chance to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative family law practice.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal representation to clients in family law cases, including divorce, custody, support, and property division matters.
- Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
- Attend court proceedings, including hearings, status conferences, and other relevant matters.
- Conduct client consultations, offering guidance and maintaining clear and consistent communication.
- Collaborate with partners and staff to develop and execute effective case strategies.
- Accurately track billable hours and ensure compliance with timekeeping requirements.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Bar license in good standing.
- 1+ year of family law experience.
- Strong legal writing and analytical skills.
- Courtroom experience is a plus.
- Ability to manage a caseload independently.
- Client-focused, organized, and detail-oriented.
