Accounts Receivable Clerk
Responsibilities:
• Process and record payments efficiently, ensuring the accuracy of all cash applications.
• Investigate and resolve disputes, chargebacks, and payment discrepancies with precision.
• Prepare and handle daily bank deposits to maintain smooth financial operations.
• Reconcile customer accounts, applying payments correctly and addressing outstanding balances.
• Maintain organized and detailed records of all financial transactions.
• Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to address issues and improve processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
• Contribute to process improvements by identifying and implementing more efficient workflows.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounts receivable, focusing on tasks such as cash applications and chargebacks.• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions like VLOOKUP and PivotTables.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Oracle is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and data confidentiality standards.
Compensation
