Robert Half has partnered with a growing international manufacturing company in the Clinton area in search of a Staff Accountant to join their corporate accounting team. The position offers high visibility within the accounting group and the opportunity to work closely with the Accounting Manager and Controller on a variety of corporate accounting responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and financial analysis
- Support accounting for accounts payable activities including reconciliations and related analysis
- Assist with ad hoc reporting and special projects
- Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments throughout the organization
- Serve as backup support for cash accounting and accounts receivable functions
- Assist with audit requests and financial reporting support as needed
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary range of $65,000-$78,000 plus discretionary bonus potential

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 2-4+ years of accounting experience in public accounting, corporate accounting, or a combination of both
- Experience working within an ERP system
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and overall systems aptitude
- Excellent communication skills and team-oriented attitude
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Willingness to assist with transactional accounting responsibilities when needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Manufacturing industry experience
- CPA or public accounting background
Compensation
$65,000.00-$78,000.00 YearlyAbout Us
