This role involves maintaining internal controls, supporting strategic financial initiatives, preparing monthly account reconciliations, coordinating financial tax audits, monitor and analyze account data, overseeing the month end close process, entering general ledger activities, and staying updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure ongoing financial health and growth. The ideal Accounting Manager will have solid financial analysis skillset, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong understanding of GAAP standards, and the capacity to multi-task while meeting crucial deadlines.


What you get to work on daily

  • Lead and coordinate the monthly close process to ensure timely and accurate financial statement preparation.
  • Oversee all accounting and regulatory reporting for assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Prepare, review, and approve account reconciliations across multiple corporate entities and balance sheet accounts.
  • Ensure reconciliation discrepancies are identified, investigated, and resolved promptly.
  • Develop monthly reporting packages for corporate entities, including detailed analysis comparing current performance to prior periods.
  • Monitor and analyze expense and revenue trends to support informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with finance teams across operating units to address accounting matters and ensure consistent application of policies.
  • Provide guidance on accounting treatment and financial reporting requirements.
  • Serve as a key contact for internal and external auditors, supporting audit requests and documentation needs.
  • Support ad hoc financial analyses and special projects as needed



Qualifications:

The ideal Accounting Manager MUST have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.


Other requirements for the Accounting Manager role include and are not limited to:

·      5++ years of public accounting experience

·      CPA or higher preferred

·      Experience ERP systems in a manufacturing environment, SAP preferred

·      Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls

·      Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
