Account Manager
Responsibilities:
• Direct and support a team focused on winning new business, launching client relationships successfully, maintaining active engagement, and securing renewals.
• Manage segment performance by tracking revenue results, monitoring pipeline activity, preparing forecasts, and driving progress toward established targets.
• Shape client engagement plans that encourage continued participation, strengthen satisfaction, and increase long-term account value.
• Lead consultative discussions with senior decision-makers to identify business needs and align solutions that address their goals.
• Work closely with internal partners to refine programs, enhance communications, and develop strategies tailored to the assigned market segment.
• Oversee hiring efforts, onboard new team members effectively, and provide coaching that builds capability and consistent performance.
• Ensure a seamless customer journey by aligning sales and account management activities around service quality and responsiveness.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required.• At least 5 years of experience in sales, account management, or another consultative client-facing position.
• Proven ability to lead teams, develop talent, and improve performance through coaching and guidance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build credibility and lasting business relationships.
• Demonstrated commercial acumen, including experience managing revenue goals and customer retention priorities.
• Ability to balance multiple responsibilities independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools; experience in a non-profit or association setting is preferred.
Compensation
