Sr. Accountant
Senior Accountant opportunity in the Rocky Hill area! This role is integral to ensuring accurate financial reporting, strategic planning, and compliance with corporate policies. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing industry and SAP ERP system experience.
Responsibilities:
• Manage month-end close activities, including account reconciliations, fixed asset reporting, and balance sheet reviews.
• Deliver accurate and timely financial forecasts, cash reporting, and management reporting.
• Provide financial insights and analysis to support capital investment decisions and drive performance improvements.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
• Conduct detailed reviews and reconciliations to maintain the integrity of balance sheets.
• Coordinate and provide support for internal and external financial audits.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning processes for the Additive Manufacturing Value Stream.
• Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement solutions to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.
• Utilize data analytics to support decision-making and optimize financial systems in alignment with strategic goals.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience with month-end close processes, including journal entries and general ledger management.
• Strong knowledge of account and bank reconciliations.
• Proficiency in SAP and other financial systems.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
• Solid understanding of preparing monthly financial statements.
• Ability to conduct detailed financial analysis and support strategic decision-making.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with operational and commercial leadership.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure compliance and accuracy in reporting.
