Family Law Paralegal

Brandon, FL | Established, team-oriented family law practice


A well-established family law firm is seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal to join its supportive and collaborative team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on involvement in cases, values a strong team culture, and wants to play a meaningful role in guiding clients through important life transitions.


The Role

• Support attorneys in a variety of family law matters from start to finish

• Draft pleadings, motions, and client correspondence

• Prepare financial affidavits and required disclosures

• Coordinate hearings, mediations, and depositions

• Maintain organized case files and track important deadlines

• Handle e-filing and assist with day-to-day case progression

• Communicate regularly with clients, courts, and opposing counsel

• Work proactively to keep cases moving forward


Schedule

• Monday–Friday, full-time

• 100% onsite (hybrid flexibility may be available over time)


Compensation

• $50,000–$80,000 DOE

• Discretionary bonus


Ideal Background

• 3+ years of family law experience in Florida

• Comfortable managing cases with a level of independence

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple matters

• Experience with case management software is a plus

• Professional, empathetic approach when working with clients

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of paralegal experience supporting family law matters
• Demonstrated ability to manage caseload responsibilities with a high degree of independence
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in a legal setting
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple active matters
• Experience preparing discovery, litigation documents, and trial-related materials
• Familiarity with case management software and electronic court filing systems
• Detail-oriented and empathetic approach when working with clients during sensitive legal matters
