Financial Technical Operations Analyst

Dallas, TX 75019, US Full Time

We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Technical Operations Analyst to join our team in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will serve as a key financial partner, offering strategic insight and operational support to enhance business performance. You will collaborate across departments to ensure financial accuracy, streamline processes, and contribute to the effective management of resources.


Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary finance advisor to operations management, bridging communication between business teams and corporate finance.

• Offer strategic financial guidance to leadership while supporting decision-making processes.

• Partner with teams to manage inventory effectively, identify cost-saving opportunities, and improve operational workflows.

• Lead the development of annual budgets and monthly forecasts by analyzing costs, accounts, and labor efficiency metrics.

• Create and maintain detailed financial reports by product line and profit center, including allocations and variance analysis.

• Coordinate physical inventory counts and reconciliations, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.

• Ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies, preparing accurate documentation for audit purposes.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial reports.

• Work closely with external auditors to provide necessary documentation during audits.

• Prepare and distribute monthly profit and loss statements to executive and local management.


Qualifications:

• Proven experience in financial analysis, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and data mining techniques.
• Strong knowledge of variance analysis and inventory management.
• Ability to deliver accurate ad hoc financial reports under tight deadlines.
• Solid understanding of internal controls and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams and external auditors.
• Advanced proficiency in financial reporting tools and software.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field required; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
