Job Summary
Conducts research assessments and procedures. Recruits, screens, and enrolls eligible participants in studies; guides participants to research scanning sites. Updates databases for registry assessments and clinical trial forms.
Essential Functions
• Conducts research assessments/procedures, including obtain vital signs and brief medical histories, process specimens using centrifuge, perform phlebotomy, prepare samples for shipment, and assist with other clinical procedures as directed.
• Recruits, screens, and enrolls research participants via telephone. Follows up with study participants to schedule appointments and maintain study retention.
• Reviews participants medical records, collects and codes surveys, and verifies active status for participants.
• Attends relevant meetings, and provides detailed written and verbal reports on participant status.
• Collects pertinent information and updates data bases for registry assessments and clinical trial forms.
• guides subjects/participants to research scanning sites.
• Maintains and organizes laboratory and related study supplies.
