Sr. Tax Accountant
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and manage individual, corporate, and sales tax returns with precision and efficiency.
• Oversee the tax filing process to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
• Collaborate with auditors and respond to organizational requests related to tax matters.
• Handle sales and use tax compliance, including preparation and reporting.
• Execute ad hoc accounting projects and provide managerial-level support as needed.
• Monitor changes in tax regulations to ensure compliance and advise on necessary adjustments.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the tax preparation workflow.
• Provide expert guidance on tax preparation and filing requirements.
• Ensure all tax-related documentation is properly organized and maintained.
Qualifications:
• Extensive experience in preparing individual, corporate, and sales tax returns.• Strong knowledge of sales and use tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to manage tax filing processes independently and with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with audit procedures and the ability to support organizational audit requests.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Proficiency in tax preparation software and accounting systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
