National Legal Services Company Seeks Business Development Manager
About Firm & Position:
A well-established national legal services organization supporting law firms across the United States is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth within its litigation support and settlement administration services group. This organization partners with law firms handling complex class actions and mass tort matters, providing end-to-end support including pre-settlement planning, class member notification, claims processing, settlement fund administration, court reporting, and post-distribution services.
The Business Development Manager will focus on developing relationships with plaintiff and defense law firms nationwide and introducing solutions that support the execution and integrity of large-scale settlement programs. This is a highly visible role that partners closely with consulting and operations teams to craft proposals and deliver client solutions.
This Business Development Manager position is fully remote and designed for a professional who enjoys client interaction, conference participation, and cultivating long-term partnerships within the legal industry.
Business Development Manager Responsibilities:
• Develop new business relationships with law firms nationwide regarding class action and mass tort administration services
• Identify and generate new business opportunities and guide the Requests for Proposals (RFP) process
• Collaborate with consulting and operations teams to prepare estimates, select project team members, and track client engagements
• Educate prospective clients on settlement administration services and related litigation support offerings
• Maintain and manage prospect and client data within the company’s CRM system
• Conduct consistent follow-up with existing clients to identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities
• Attend industry conferences, host networking events, and monitor market trends within the legal services sector
• Participate in weekly pipeline reporting and business development meetings to coordinate proposals and client strategy

Salary:
$100,000–$125,000 base salary + bonus potential

Qualifications:
- Background in eDiscovery sales, litigation support sales, or legal services sales strongly preferred; alternatively a J.D. with client-facing intake, consulting, or business development exposure
- Residence within the Midwest or Southeast United States (North Carolina through South Florida)
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 60–70% for conferences and client meetings
- Strong client-facing presence with the ability to build relationships with law firm decision makers
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
