In the Department of Family & Community Medicine at the Permian Basin, our aim is to develop people through positive relationships to change our world by transforming healthcare and changing communities.

Family Med Ode General

Major/Essential Functions

  • Provide patient care by performing such medical examinations as are necessary and appropriate for all patients;
  • Maintain appropriate records, reports, claims and correspondence necessary in connection with all professional services performed by the physician;
  • Precept family medicine residents and medical students, providing bedside training; and,
  • Provide mentorship, training and resources to students and residents to be successful in their future careers, placing a strong focus on education and evidence-based practices.


Required Qualifications

  • MD/DO/MBBS Degree;
  • Completion of a Family Medicine Residency; and,
  • Completion of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) Step 3.
