Accounting Clerk

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Awendaw, South Carolina. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering the opportunity to grow within the organization while contributing to key accounting functions. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing financial transactions, processing data efficiently, and supporting the team with accuracy and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

• Process and record financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Enter and manage orders in QuickBooks with precision.

• Handle invoice processing and ensure timely payments and collections.

• Maintain accurate records and organize financial data for reporting purposes.

• Provide support to the sales team by managing order entry and related tasks.

• Utilize Excel to analyze and manage data effectively.

• Assist in reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies as needed.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflows and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks for order entry and financial management.

• Strong skills in data entry with a high level of accuracy.

• Familiarity with invoice processing and related financial tasks.

• Competence in Microsoft Excel, including basic data analysis and organization.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
