Sr. Accountant
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team in Kingwood, Texas. In this role, you will oversee essential accounting functions, including financial reporting, multi-entity consolidations, and healthcare-specific revenue processes. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of accounting principles, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining accuracy and compliance.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for multiple clinic locations.
• Lead or support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Analyze financial results to identify variances and provide actionable insights to management.
• Manage and maintain general ledgers for multiple locations and legal entities, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Assist with consolidations and intercompany transactions, maintaining alignment across all entities.
• Support revenue recognition processes, including handling patient service revenue, insurance reimbursements, and contractual adjustments.
• Collaborate with billing and revenue cycle teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and internal controls, while assisting with audits and preparing necessary schedules.
• Contribute to annual budgeting and forecasting efforts, partnering with operational leaders to track performance.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of detail-oriented accounting experience, preferably within the healthcare industry.
• Proficiency in managing month-end and year-end close processes, including general ledger maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of multi-entity accounting and intercompany transaction management.
• Experience with revenue recognition and accounts receivable trends in a healthcare environment.
• Familiarity with compliance standards and internal controls specific to the industry.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting software or ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate findings effectively.
