Director of Administration
Greater Chattanooga area-Onsite
Our client is seeking an experienced Director of Administration to lead a high-volume claims administration function. This is a key leadership opportunity for an operations-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced, project-driven environment and is passionate about building efficient processes, developing teams, and improving performance.
In this role, you will oversee a team of approximately 18 administrative professionals and drive the successful execution of claims processing, insurance follow-up, workflow optimization, and cross-functional coordination.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of administrative professionals supporting claims operations
- Oversee end-to-end claims processing for construction and remediation projects
- Ensure claim documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted on time
- Manage insurance follow-up, including status tracking, escalations, and resolution
- Identify workflow bottlenecks and implement process improvements to increase efficiency
- Partner with project managers, field teams, and finance to align on documentation and claim status
- Develop and track KPIs, reporting, backlog metrics, claim cycle times, and recovery performance
- Strengthen systems, filing processes, and reporting tools to support scalability and audit readiness

Qualifications:
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in claims administration, insurance operations, or construction project support
- 2+ years of direct people management experience
- Proven success leading teams in high-volume, deadline-driven environments
- Strong understanding of claims processing and insurance follow-up
- Experience improving workflows and operational processes
- Ability to manage complex coordination across multiple stakeholders
- Proficiency with CRM, ERP, or claims management systems
- Construction or remediation industry experience is strongly preferred
Compensation
$75,000.00-$90,000.00 YearlyAbout Us
