Sr. Accountant
Responsibilities:
• Lead monthly accounting processes, including balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close activities.
• Prepare and analyze complex general ledger account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Investigate discrepancies in financial data and provide clear responses to inquiries.
• Analyze financial outcomes to identify trends, variances, and support estimates like accruals and reserves.
• Create and distribute customized financial reports using data visualization tools to enhance decision-making.
• Develop and maintain advanced financial models to assist in budgeting and forecasting initiatives.
• Assess financial performance against plans and forecasts, delivering strategic recommendations.
• Drive process improvements to streamline financial operations and enhance efficiency.
• Contribute to mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic projects, supporting organizational objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new software solutions into existing systems.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; certification such as CPA or CMA is preferred.• At least 5 years of accounting experience, ideally in a dynamic and growth-focused organization.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, with experience in import/export functionality.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a history of innovative solutions.
• Experience managing software system implementations and integrations.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Compensation
