We are looking for an experienced HR/Payroll Administrator to join an established in Los Angeles, California. This role involves managing payroll processes, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing support for HR-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll systems and excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Process payroll for contract, commission, and salaried employees on a bi-weekly basis.

• Verify employee hours, pay rates, and coding within Paylocity to ensure accuracy.

• Compile and process electronic timesheets through Paylocity and transmit data to external payroll services.

• Address employee inquiries regarding payroll matters and provide clear, actionable information.

• Collaborate with HR and Accounting departments to maintain accurate employee records.

• Generate detailed payroll reports for management using Excel and Paylocity.

• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with payroll regulations and company policies.

• Support ad hoc reporting needs related to payroll data.

• Maintain records for direct deposits, benefit deductions, advances, and status changes.

• Assist with HR functions such as orientations for new employees, benefit enrollment, and performance evaluation tracking.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Human Resources preferred.

• Minimum of eight years of experience in payroll administration or a related field.

• Proficiency in payroll and accounting software systems, including Paylocity, ADP Workforce Now, and Ceridian.

• Strong knowledge of HRIS and payroll systems.

• Experience with benefit administration and pension contribution tracking.

• Advanced skills in Excel.

• Familiarity with auditing processes and compliance standards.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills to manage payroll and HR tasks effectively.


Compensation

$85,000.00-$95,000.00 Yearly
