HR/ Payroll Specialist
We are looking for an HR/ Payroll Specialist to support core people operations for a well known organization. This position blends payroll administration, benefits support, recruiting coordination, and employee relations to help deliver a consistent and positive employee experience. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to work effectively with employees and managers across the full employment lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
• Process payroll accurately and on schedule while handling sensitive employee information with a high degree of discretion.
• Oversee benefits administration by managing enrollments, updates, and employee communications regarding available programs.
• Support hiring efforts from requisition through onboarding, helping create a smooth and positive experience for candidates and new hires.
• Coordinate leave administration, including tracking eligibility, documentation, and return-to-work details for various types of absences.
• Advise managers and employees on workplace policies, performance matters, and employee relations concerns in a timely and effective manner.
• Monitor HR practices for alignment with applicable employment laws, regulations, and industry requirements.
• Maintain accurate employee records and prepare HR reports that assist leadership with workforce planning and decision-making.
• Recommend and implement improvements to HR processes that increase efficiency and strengthen the overall employee experience.
• Build collaborative partnerships across departments by serving as a responsive and service-oriented HR resource.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in human resources, payroll, or a closely related role.
- Service-minded with a strong focus on supporting employees and leaders
- Adaptable and flexible—someone who is comfortable working without a step-by-step playbook and can thrive in an evolving environment
- Ability to think critically and navigate ambiguity with confidence
- Solid foundational knowledge in recruiting, payroll/benefits, and employee relations
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle sensitive information
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to prioritize and stay organized in a dynamic setting
Compensation
$60,000.00-$65,000.00 YearlyAbout Us
