Accounting Manager/Supervisor
Responsibilities:
• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close cycle, ensuring financial records are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Evaluate reports and deliverables prepared by outside accounting partners and confirm that supporting documentation and internal controls remain up to date.
• Administer customer agreements from setup through record retention, while ensuring pricing details are documented clearly and reflected correctly in invoices.
• Oversee the end-to-end billing process, including customer onboarding in financial systems, subscription configuration, and timely invoicing.
• Monitor cash positions, prepare near-term cash projections, and maintain effective relationships with banking institutions and financial account providers.
• Compare financial results to the annual budget and provide leadership with meaningful visibility into performance trends.
• Manage payroll processing, coordinate with payroll vendors, and calculate variable earnings such as commissions and bonus payments.
• Support equity administration activities, coordinate tax-related matters with external advisors, and manage insurance coverage renewals.
• Maintain accounting, billing, payroll, and contract platforms, improve system integrations, and build reporting tools and dashboards for leadership.
• Oversee key finance-related vendors, including accounting, tax, payroll, insurance, and software providers, to ensure dependable and timely service.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience managing accounting operations, including month-end close, general ledger activity, journal entries, and account reconciliations.• Strong understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, with the ability to maintain accuracy across billing and cash application workflows.
• Experience reviewing financial statements and supporting audit-related activities with organized documentation and reliable controls.
• Hands-on proficiency with QuickBooks Online and comfort working across multiple financial and operational systems.
• Ability to interpret contract terms and translate pricing structures into accurate billing and revenue-related records.
• Knowledge of payroll administration, vendor coordination, and compliance support in a growing business environment.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage priorities and meet recurring deadlines.
Compensation
