Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Build and lead a high-performing account team aligned with divisional goals
- Analyze market and customer needs to build an opportunity pipeline, combining proliferation of existing technologies, and identification new opportunities for innovative & differentiating solutions.
- Understand customers internal organizations & challenges, in order to offer valuable solutions.
- Manage customer mapping: grow network of key deciding or influencing people at customers
- Manage the sales pipeline and ensure the conversion of opportunities into project into order intake, into revenues.
- Ensure timely execution of acquisition projects
- Promote a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Encourage leadership development and talent growth within the team
- Ensure alignment with ITW values and cultural principles
- Deploy & apply the ITW tools: Commercial Process, Global Sales Operating Process, Explore & Customer Back Innovation process, Value Selling, Strategic Sales Excellence framework, 80/20 Front to Back.
- Collaborate with other teams: OEM Sales teams, Strategic Marketing, Engineering & Innovation, Operations, Finance & other divisions.
- Ensure timely execution of product development projects
- Monitor key performance indicators such as sales pipeline, revenue
- Support strategic planning processes (Annual and Long-Term Planning)
- Defend existing business (> $ 25M/y)
- Manage customer tenders (RFQ, business case, quotations, contract)
Required Experience, Skills & Knowledge:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or equivalent ITW experience
- Significant experience (10 years) in technical functions (Engineering, Project management, Quality) and/or Sales in Automotive environment (OEM or Tiers). Wiring Harness or Connectivity tiers is a plus.
- 360° view / comprehensive understanding of the relationships OEM/Tier1/Tier2
- Proven Leadership experience with demonstrably successful, high-performing teams
- Successful execution of strategic planning, customer negotiations, and market analysis
- Experience in Sales pipeline management & CRM is preferred
- Experience of managing innovation
