We are looking for a skilled SQL Database Administrator to join our team in Malvern, Pennsylvania. This is a Contract-to-permanent position where you will play a pivotal role in maintaining, securing, and optimizing our database systems. If you have a strong background in database administration with expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:
• Perform daily administration tasks to ensure the efficient operation of database systems.
• Evaluate database content and data from an information security perspective to identify potential vulnerabilities.
• Implement security measures by hardening databases and applying necessary patches to protect against threats.
• Provide ongoing support and management of organizational database environments.
• Maintain and optimize Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL databases to uphold performance standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a SQL Database Administrator with expertise in Microsoft SQL Server.
• Proficiency in managing MySQL databases.
• Strong understanding of database security protocols and practices.
• Ability to identify and address vulnerabilities in database systems.
• Familiarity with database optimization techniques and performance tuning.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Compensation

$52.25-$60.50 Hourly
