About the Hiring Leader
Position: Communications Specialist
Professional Background
She is an experienced executive marketing strategist with nearly three decades of leadership across nonprofit, B2B, B2C, and high-growth organizations. Throughout her career, she has helped organizations align strategy, marketing, communications, and brand identity while preserving their mission and culture.
She brings a unique blend of strategic thinking and creative execution, believing that successful marketing begins with understanding an organization's identity before determining how to communicate it.
Leadership Style
She leads collaboratively while maintaining high expectations for quality and excellence. She enjoys mentoring team members who take ownership, communicate proactively, and consistently produce thoughtful, polished work.
She values people who can take direction, exercise sound judgment, and independently execute projects with minimal oversight.
What Motivates Her
- Seeing the mission translated into meaningful impact
- Strong alignment between messaging and execution
- Strategic thinking paired with creative excellence
- Teams that embrace change and continuous improvement
What Frustrates Her
- Inconsistent branding or messaging
- Poor attention to detail
- Work that feels disconnected from the organization's mission
- Missed deadlines or inconsistent execution
Communication Style
She appreciates proactive communication, thoughtful questions, and concise updates. She prefers team members who identify solutions rather than simply presenting problems and who communicate early when priorities or timelines shift.
How to Best Support her
The ideal Social Media Coordinator takes ownership of daily execution while maintaining exceptional quality standards. They proactively keep projects moving, communicate progress clearly, and ensure every piece of content accurately reflects our voice and visual identity.
About This Opportunity
We are seeking a detail-focused, bilingual HubSpot Automation & Spanish
Social Media Coordinator to serve as both our technical HubSpot execution builder
and the digital voice of our Spanish social media outreach across multiple social platforms including Instagram (32,500 followers) and Facebook (4.7 million followers).
This hybrid role bridges the technical "science" of our email automation and website
quality with the relational "art" of engaging our Spanish-speaking audience. You don't need to write English strategy or create visuals from scratch—our creative team provides the direction, copy, and templates. We need a precision-focused operator who can plug assets into HubSpot flawlessly, build out workflows, manage our social ecosystem, and ensure all Spanish content across our brand is culturally and grammatically pixel-perfect.
You'll collaborate closely with the Campaign & Communications Projects Specialist while helping ensure social media content reflects the organization's mission, values, and commitment to excellence.
Position Summary
The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for planning, creating, scheduling, publishing, and optimizing social media content across multiple platforms.
Using existing content, campaign materials, and creative direction, you'll transform long-form resources into engaging social media posts, graphics, reels, stories, and carousels that resonate with audiences while remaining faithful to the organization's voice.
You'll also engage with online communities, monitor content performance, and contribute ideas that help improve engagement while maintaining consistency across all digital channels.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an organized, proactive, and highly dependable marketing professional who genuinely enjoys bringing ideas to life through social media.
They possess exceptional attention to detail and naturally notice inconsistencies in design, grammar, formatting, messaging, and branding before content is published.
Rather than waiting for detailed instructions, they confidently manage their workload, prioritize tasks effectively, and consistently meet deadlines.
They enjoy working within established brand guidelines while contributing creative ideas that improve engagement and strengthen the organization's online presence.
Most importantly, they understand the importance of communicating biblical truth with clarity, excellence, and authenticity.
