Member Services Representative

We are looking for a detail-oriented Member Services Representative to join a fast-moving service team in Michigan. This contract opportunity with potential for a permanent role is ideal for someone who can balance customer service, analytical review, and accurate data handling in a high-volume environment. The person in this role will evaluate information carefully, support sound decisions through research, and maintain strong productivity and quality standards while delivering attentive service.

Responsibilities:
• Review complex approval-related information and use sound judgment to make accurate determinations.
• Compare images and supporting details against established guidelines to confirm whether submissions meet required standards.
• Research discrepancies, investigate exceptions, and gather information needed to resolve issues efficiently.
• Enter and maintain large volumes of records with a high level of speed, accuracy, and consistency.
• Interpret written materials carefully to identify key details and apply policies correctly in daily work.
• Record decision logic thoroughly and keep documentation organized for tracking and future reference.
• Manage member interactions in a fast-paced service or call center setting while maintaining clear communication and responsiveness.
• Consistently achieve defined quality expectations and productivity goals in a deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in customer service, member support, or a call center environment.
• Strong computer skills, including confidence navigating multiple systems and completing data entry tasks efficiently.
• Accurate typing skills and the ability to handle high-volume work without sacrificing quality.
• Solid reading comprehension and attention to detail when reviewing written information and visual documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to think critically, make independent decisions, and solve problems effectively.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to document work clearly and maintain reliable records.
• Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment while meeting performance expectations.

Compensation

$18.05-$20.90 Hourly
