SAP Finance (FICO) Solution Specialist

We are looking for an SAP Finance (FICO) Solution Specialist to support manufacturing operations through expert ERP consulting and finance process optimization in Brooklyn, New York. This Long-term Contract position focuses on translating business needs into practical SAP solutions, partnering with stakeholders to improve financial workflows and system performance. The ideal candidate will combine strong functional knowledge with technical coordination skills to deliver well-structured documentation, reliable configurations, and integrated solutions across enterprise platforms.

Responsibilities:
• Partner with finance and business teams to gather operational needs and convert them into clear functional specifications and business requirement documents.
• Configure and refine SAP FICO solutions to align system capabilities with accounting, reporting, and manufacturing-related financial processes.
• Work with technical teams to support client-side scripting and API-based integrations that enhance system usability and data exchange.
• Oversee configuration activities, maintain solution integrity, and ensure changes are documented and controlled throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify process improvements and recommend scalable ERP solutions.
• Support solution design reviews, testing efforts, and issue resolution to promote stable and effective system performance.
• Coordinate with development resources on connected platform needs, including Salesforce-related requirements where integration or process alignment is needed.
• Create and maintain clear project documentation, including process flows, requirements artifacts, and configuration records.

Qualifications:

• Experience working as an SAP Finance (FICO) consultant or solution specialist in ERP-focused environments.
• Strong ability to develop business requirement documents and translate business objectives into system solutions.
• Hands-on knowledge of configuration management practices within enterprise application projects.
• Familiarity with client-side scripting concepts and their use in supporting application functionality.
• Experience with API development or integration coordination across business systems.
• Understanding of Salesforce development concepts and how they interact with broader enterprise platforms.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with business users, analysts, and technical teams.

Compensation

$59.38-$68.75 Hourly
