Sr. Accountant
Responsibilities:
• Lead monthly close activities by preparing schedules, reviewing financial data, and helping ensure timely reporting.
• Maintain the general ledger by recording and validating accounting activity across assigned accounts.
• Prepare and post journal entries with appropriate support and a high degree of accuracy.
• Complete account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to keep balances current and reliable.
• Perform bank reconciliations, resolve unmatched items, and follow through on outstanding variances.
• Analyze financial transactions and documentation to improve accuracy and strengthen internal controls.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to gather required information and support recurring accounting processes.
Qualifications:
• Extensive experience in a senior-level accounting role.• Strong working knowledge of month-end close procedures and general ledger accounting.
• Experience preparing journal entries and supporting underlying documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to perform account reconciliations and resolve variances effectively.
• Hands-on experience with bank reconciliations in a high-volume environment.
• High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines consistently.
Compensation
