A leading venture and growth investment platform is seeking a Fund Accounting & Tax Manager to join its expanding finance team. The firm specializes in acquiring existing ownership stakes in private companies and venture capital funds and recently closed a $2.2B inaugural fund that exceeded its original fundraising target. This is an opportunity to join a high-performing team within a fast-paced investment environment focused on venture secondaries and growth investing.
Responsibilities
- Manage fund accounting activities across multiple investment vehicles
- Oversee quarterly closes, financial reporting, and investor reporting
- Review capital calls, distributions, carried interest allocations, and management fees
- Coordinate with external fund administrators, auditors, and tax providers
- Manage tax compliance and investor tax reporting processes
- Assist with valuation support and portfolio reporting initiatives
- Improve operational processes, controls, and reporting efficiencies
- Support fundraising activities and strategic finance projects
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of fund accounting and/or tax experience within private equity, venture capital, asset management, or public accounting
- Strong understanding of partnership accounting and investment fund structures
- Experience supporting venture capital, growth equity, or private equity funds preferred
- CPA strongly preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment

Compensation
