Bilingual Front Desk Coordinator

A busy and well-established dental practice in Escondido is seeking a Bilingual Front Desk Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for patients and families. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming environment, managing a high-volume front desk, and providing exceptional customer service in both English and Spanish.

The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and comfortable balancing patient scheduling, insurance verification, and administrative support duties in a fast-paced dental office.

Key Responsibilities

Patient & Front Office Support

• Greet patients and visitors while creating a positive patient experience
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments
• Answer incoming calls and direct inquiries appropriately
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain necessary patient information
• Assist patients with forms, documentation, and appointment preparation
• Maintain accurate patient records and demographic information

Administrative Duties

• Collect copayments and process patient payments
• Coordinate treatment scheduling and follow-up appointments
• Assist with patient communication regarding appointments and reminders
• Maintain organized front office records and documentation
• Support office operations and administrative projects as needed

Qualifications:

• Bilingual English/Spanish required
• 1+ year of dental, medical, or healthcare front office experience preferred
• Experience with dental software such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or similar is highly preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a busy patient-facing environment
• Professional and friendly demeanor
