Are you an experienced Resident Manager who takes pride in maintaining a beautiful property, delivering outstanding resident service, and creating a welcoming community environment?

We are seeking a professional, hands-on Resident Manager to oversee a well-maintained 52-unit residential community in Fullerton. This is an excellent opportunity to live and work on-site while partnering with an established property ownership group and professional management company with more than 40 years of industry experience.

The Resident Manager will be supported by experienced maintenance personnel, trusted vendors, and a highly responsive professional management company.

Compensation & Housing Package

This position offers a unique compensation package that includes:

• Base Salary: $25,000 annually

• Monthly Performance Bonus Opportunity: Up to $9,600 annually based on rent collections and property performance

• On-Site Housing: Spacious 2-bedroom apartment for only $600 per month

When considering the value of the discounted housing benefit and bonus opportunity, the total compensation package can exceed $55,000 annually, depending on market rental value and performance incentives.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of a 52-unit apartment community

• Market and lease available units

• Conduct property tours and respond to prospective resident inquiries

• Review rental applications, credit reports, and background screenings

• Select qualified residents in accordance with Fair Housing guidelines

• Collect rent and monitor delinquency reports

• Maintain accurate resident and property records

• Prepare and submit reports to ownership and management

• Coordinate with maintenance staff and outside vendors

• Conduct regular property inspections

• Ensure the community remains clean, attractive, and well-maintained at all times

• Foster positive resident relationships and resolve concerns professionally

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of Resident Manager experience overseeing 20+ units

• Strong leasing, sales, and customer service skills

• Experience reviewing credit reports and screening applicants

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

• Professional, dependable, and self-motivated

• Strong attention to detail and follow-through

• Knowledge of property management software is a plus

• Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming community
