Commercial Litigation Attorney
Responsibilities:
• Represent clients in litigation involving partnership and shareholder disputes, breach of contract claims, and fiduciary duty matters.
• Handle cases related to business dissolutions, employment disputes, and issues surrounding restrictive covenants.
• Provide counsel and advocacy on regulatory and licensure matters, ensuring compliance and resolution of legal issues.
• Manage litigation involving liability, directors and officers liability, and errors and omissions.
• Address construction-related disputes, including contract disagreements and defect claims.
• Draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents with precision and clarity.
• Conduct thorough discovery processes to gather evidence and develop case strategies.
• Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients during mediation or court proceedings.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative legal strategies and solutions for complex cases.
• Contribute to business development efforts by cultivating client relationships and identifying opportunities for growth.
Qualifications:
• Must hold a valid license to practice law.• A minimum of 7 years of experience in civil litigation, particularly in commercial disputes.
• Demonstrated expertise in drafting motions, briefs, and other legal documentation.
• Strong knowledge of discovery processes and evidence gathering techniques.
• Proven ability to manage cases involving regulatory compliance and liability requiring attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication, analytical, and writing skills.
• Ability to generate business and maintain strong client relationships.
• Commitment to ongoing development and contributing to a collaborative work environment.
Compensation
