Position: Estate Planning Attorney
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Estate Planning Attorney to join a growing practice. This role is ideal for an attorney who enjoys working directly with clients, providing thoughtful guidance, and developing comprehensive estate plans tailored to individual and family needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to assess estate planning needs and objectives
- Advise on and draft estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives
- Guide clients on asset protection, wealth transfer strategies, and tax considerations
- Manage estate planning matters from initial consultation through execution
- Review and update existing estate plans as needed
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure efficient workflow
- Maintain strong client relationships and provide ongoing counsel
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the state bar
- 2+ years of estate planning experience
- Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage client relationships with professionalism and empathy
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Experience handling client consultations independently is preferred
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of estate and gift tax planning strategies
- Experience with trust administration or probate is a plus
