Insurance Coverage Attorney

We are looking for a skilled Insurance Coverage Attorney to join our team in New York, New York. This position is ideal for mid-level attorneys who want to enhance their expertise in insurance coverage and litigation while working on a variety of challenging legal matters. You will play a critical role in providing legal analysis and representation to clients, ensuring their interests are effectively protected.

Responsibilities:
• Analyze insurance policies and prepare detailed coverage opinions.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys in managing insurance-related litigation and resolving disputes.
• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and memoranda.
• Participate in depositions, mediations, and court proceedings as needed.
• Conduct in-depth legal research on insurance law and coverage-related issues.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with clients regarding case strategies and updates.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance coverage or litigation.
• Proficiency in interpreting policies and conducting coverage analysis.
• Previous experience in a law firm or insurance-focused legal role.
• Active admission to the New York Bar; New Jersey Bar admission is a plus.
• Strong skills in legal research, writing, and verbal communication.
• Familiarity with civil litigation procedures, including drafting motions and managing discovery processes.

Compensation

$160,000.00-$195,000.00 Yearly
