We’re seeking a Grant Accountant to partner closely with the CFO and finance team in a high-impact role supporting grant accounting, strengthening compliance, and driving meaningful process improvements within a growing, mission-driven organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounting for multiple grants, including revenue, expenses, and fund tracking
- Reconcile accounts and assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, FASB, and 2 CFR Part 200
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and support internal/external audits
- Prepare reports, invoices, and reimbursement requests
- Track budgets, analyze variances, and forecast spend
- Partner with program leaders on financial performance and reporting needs
- Support grant budgets, modifications, and closeouts
- Strengthen processes, controls, and overall financial procedures
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications / Experience:
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related
- 3+ years of nonprofit grant accounting
- Strong knowledge of FASB and federal grant compliance
- Experience managing multiple grants and audits
- ERP experience, Advanced Excel, and systems savvy

Compensation
