Plant Controller
Key Responsibilities
Manage the plant’s accounting and financial reporting processes
Prepare budgets, forecasts, and monthly financial analyses
Monitor manufacturing costs, inventory, labor, and overhead variances
Lead cost accounting activities, including standard costing and inventory valuation
Partner with operations leadership to improve financial performance and efficiency
Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements
Analyze capital expenditures and support business case development
Oversee month-end and year-end close for plant finance activities
Provide insight into KPIs, production trends, and profitability drivers
Supervise plant accounting staff, if applicable
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA, CMA, or MBA often preferred
Several years of progressive accounting or finance experience, ideally in manufacturing
Strong knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis
Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
Strong communication and business partnering abilities
This position offers a salary range of $115,000-$155,000 + bonus and comes with a full benefits package including: medical/dental/vision insurance, paid time off, 401k.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Several years of progressive accounting or finance experience, preferably within a manufacturing setting.
• Demonstrated expertise in manufacturing cost accounting, including standard costing and variance analysis.
• Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance analysis.
• Experience overseeing month-end close and preparing financial reporting in a plant or operational environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, including Oracle, and advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities.
• Certification such as CPA or CMA is preferred.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to partner closely with finance and operations stakeholders.
Compensation
