Overview
Lutron Electronics Co., Inc. has an immediate opening for an HR Business Partner supporting our 2ndshift (3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.) operations at our Meadows warehousing facility in Allentown, PA. In this position, you will be a key part of the Human Resource team. A successful HR Business Partner will perform as a strategic liaison between Human Resources and your assigned business partners. You will work closely with senior leaders to support the objectives of the organization and develop their teams
Responsibilities
Partner with site leadership to translate business needs into effective HR actions
- Coach and support managers on performance, employee relations, and corrective action
- Solve workforce challenges and drive practical, scalable solutions
- Collaborate with corporate HR teams to align local execution with enterprise strategy
- Execute core HR operations, including payroll support, staffing, and compliance
- Recruit and hire exempt and non-exempt talent aligned to business goals
- Build staffing plans to ensure operational continuity
- Develop and deliver training to strengthen workforce capability
- Support onboarding to drive early employee success
- Use data to guide workforce and compensation decisions
- Lead or contribute to HR projects that drive continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology or related field
- Minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.00 or 10+ years of work experience post academics
- 7+ years' experience working in HR
- Ability to cover 2ndshift hours (3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.)
- HR certification preferred
- Effective at collaboratively driving projects with cross-functional teams
- Experience working effectively in a matrix organization
- Excellent judgement in complex situations with multiple stakeholders
