Accounting Manager

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee key financial operations at our manufacturing facility in Westminster, Colorado. This role involves managing cost accounting processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting internal controls to safeguard company assets. The position begins as an individual contributor and offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and leadership.

Responsibilities:
• Manage and coordinate all aspects of Bill of Materials costing, inventory management, and Cost of Goods Sold analysis.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end close processes and general ledger activities.
• Collaborate with the Director of Finance to prepare monthly financial statements and reporting packages, including group reporting requirements.
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls to protect company assets and align with industry best practices.
• Work closely with operations to support financial and accounting processes across the organization.
• Assist with the year-end external financial audit by providing necessary information to auditors.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and operational accounting functions.
• Support the Director of Finance in managing accounting activities for the U.S. entity.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of accounting procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on financial data and reporting needs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or economics.
• At least 5 years of accounting experience, with a focus on cost accounting.
• Proven experience working in manufacturing, construction, or other cost-focused industries.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with accounting systems and software, including Epicor or similar platforms.
• Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining flexibility and an open mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with functional leaders across the organization.
• Public accounting experience and knowledge of Peachtree/Sage 50 software are a plus.

Compensation

$90,000.00-$105,000.00 Yearly
