Accounting Manager
Responsibilities:
• Manage and coordinate all aspects of Bill of Materials costing, inventory management, and Cost of Goods Sold analysis.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end close processes and general ledger activities.
• Collaborate with the Director of Finance to prepare monthly financial statements and reporting packages, including group reporting requirements.
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls to protect company assets and align with industry best practices.
• Work closely with operations to support financial and accounting processes across the organization.
• Assist with the year-end external financial audit by providing necessary information to auditors.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and operational accounting functions.
• Support the Director of Finance in managing accounting activities for the U.S. entity.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of accounting procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on financial data and reporting needs.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or economics.• At least 5 years of accounting experience, with a focus on cost accounting.
• Proven experience working in manufacturing, construction, or other cost-focused industries.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with accounting systems and software, including Epicor or similar platforms.
• Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining flexibility and an open mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with functional leaders across the organization.
• Public accounting experience and knowledge of Peachtree/Sage 50 software are a plus.
Compensation
$90,000.00-$105,000.00 YearlyAbout Us
