INSTANT MESSAGING OPERATIONS ANALYST/Apps Support Sr. Analyst

The EUCI Lync Level 3 team provides E2E operations for Enterprise instant messaging infrastructure including Public IM compliance infrastructures; Collaborate with Citi Architecture Technology Engineering and Demand Management on solution designs for operational effectiveness. Members of the team are considered to be subject matter experts; responsible for infrastructure deployment, integration, migration, administration and escalated support.

Job Description

The Operations Analyst will be part of a team whose role is the operation of complex, multi-system environments. In this role, the Operations Analyst will follow CATE identified standards to deploy and manage Citi's instant messaging solutions. The Analyst will work with Level 2 support on escalated support issues and monitor system health utilizing SCOM. The L3 team is responsible for producing system usage reports for management. Members of the team are on a weekly on-call rotation.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of Lync/S4B administration or engineering in a large corporate environment
  • A minimum of five years of experience supporting Instance Messaging technology.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience administering Windows server OS
  • Three or more years of experience with Actiance Vantage
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows Powershell and scripting
  • Expert technical troubleshooting skills including Root Cause Analysis
  • Broad knowledge of various technology architectures
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Lync Centralized Logging Service
  • Overall IT experience in a Client-Server environment, with practical knowledge of distributed, and desktop technologies
  • Advanced knowledge of RCC (Cisco and Avaya) and conferencing systems integration
  • Hands on Expert Level Skills relating to Lync and Skye 4 Business. (Not just Lab Experience. Must have real live environmental background.)
  • Advanced written and verbal communication capabilities, ability to influence and successfully interface with executive leadership
  • Extensive experience with Lync reporting for troubleshooting and metrics
