Position Summary

The Digital Money Transmission Partnerships Manager will be part of the Money Transmission function (within Global Digital Payments) that is responsible for devising an emerging payments strategy for global consumer bank and implementing initiatives to put Citi at the forefront of this industry shift. The objective of this role is to prepare and ensure that the consumer business takes advantage of the shifts in payments paradigm to drive digital money transmission by leveraging solutions from third parties, digital giants and aligning with key industry partners. The Money Transmission group is part Global Digital Payments which is part of the Global Consumer Bank. The group's mandate is to define scope, lay out the strategy and drive deployment of money movement propositions for the consumer bank.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and establish partnerships with payment networks and other strategic partners globally, such as The Clearing House
  • Support digital money transmission growth by developing pipeline of potential disruptive players and capabilities in the industry
  • Conduct ongoing evaluation for synergies / threats in the payments industry
  • Collaborate with the Money Transmission team and internal Citi business units to leverage synergies/opportunities across teams to drive digital money transmission growth
  • Develop business models to support investment into new partnerships
  • Provide recommendations to the Money Transmission team and senior management on opportunities to drive digital money transmission growth
  • Support the development and refresh of overall strategy and roadmap for global money transmission including responding to current trends and relevant industry developments

Qualifications
  • 5 years' experience as a member of or leading teams developing and deploying global solutions into local markets
  • Product management experience leading payments, partnerships and/or digital products
  • Strong knowledge of the emerging payment space from an issuer, acquirer or 3rd party provider point of view
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, innovation and creativity
  • Experience in e-commerce, m-commerce, digital banking or with bank payment solutions
  • Strong knowledge of financial services controls & risks frameworks
  • Proactive, self-starter with the ability to multi-task and work independently at all levels in the organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player with excellent relationship management skills
  • College degree required, Masters degree preferred
